Late again. I apologize for not being around much this week. M$ Windows decided it wants to be especially unstable. It won a few battles, but I intend to win the war -- I'm replacing it with X Windows for Linux. Consequently, I may not be on much this coming week either. Download counter... I whipped one up for Dextrose (http://www.dextrose.com) last month, so it wasn't too difficult to design it for use by multiple sites. Unfortunately, the way it's implemented requires enabling it in the main config file, so e-mail me if you want to use it. I'll be talking with the Fast-CGI authors about a work-around for that. I'll add an information sheet to the member's site (http://members.emulationworld.com) in the next day or so. WebUpdate? It looks like the two updaters lead the polls, so I will be looking at those next. Since both must pass thorugh root (admin) level access to work properly, development time will be a bit longer. I may whip up a link-exchange and guestbook along the way. MySQL... I didn't get as much done on SQL as I had hoped, so I will be testing it over the weekend (assuming the X Windows install goes decently). It was a quiet week, overall. Until next time, -- Brian
