We have an assortment of updates this week, but I'll start with the big one. NewsUpdate is finished. The 700 line beast seems to work on my home system (where M$ rarely sees the light of day :). I'll be testing it on the server early next week and will (hopefully) release it for use in the next newsletter. No, it won't be sooner because I'm skipping town. I'll be leaving Friday and will not return until Monday. I will be leaving my pager, computer, and Internet access behind (otherwise it's not really a vacation, is it?). If something needs immediate attention, Lev (lev@ztnet.com) will still be around for the weekend. A crash, but a clue. Web Server 1 crashed about 3 hours ago and all fingers point to the NFS-based mirroring. So back to the drawing board, this time going with an ssh based solution. A new domain. The emulationworld.com domain was starting to look a little crowded, so we snatched up emu2k.com in case some new sites wanted to use it. Yes, the main page does look horrid. Dark Mazda (http://www.darkmazda.com) is helping us with a much needed replacement. Speaking of which... I apologize for the slow response to some of your e-mail. Lev decided to go on another acquisition spree, so I've been helping a few new sites get settled in. I guess that's it for the evening. I'll see you next week. -- Brian
