Another week, another letter. Nothing Earth shattering this week, but a few items to discuss. Coming up next... It looks like WebUpdate is next on the list, and I've done a little code work on it, but it won't be usable for another couple weeks. It will allow uploading from your system, grabbing a URL. Bulk uploading (via zip or tar/gzip) will be included as well. Downloading, moving, copying and deleting will also be offered. If you have additional suggestions, let me know. New items up for a vote... Two items have been added to the to-do poll at the Member's Site (http://members.emulationworld.com). One is a form to e-mail system similar to the news submission program Zophar (http://www.zophar.net) uses. The other is a dead link detector. I hear 2.0.37 is nice... We learned quite a bit after Sunday's crash. Apparently quite a few changes in the NFS code between the 2.0 and 2.2 kernel series. We upgraded the NFS server, which should help some. We have decided to stay with 2.2 for now, since rapid progress is being made. We may drop back to 2.0 if these problems continue, however. Oops... Gridle (http://mame.retrogames.com) pointed out a few typos on the Member's site. Most notably, many of the SSI tags were missing a --> on the end. That's it for now. Until next time, -- Brian
